Bella Vista Lake has a 1.8-mile-long (2.9 km) walking/biking trail that goes around the lake.

In October 2016 the City of Bella Vista opened 40 miles of hiking and mountain bike trails entitled The Back 40 which is positioned on the east side of the city.

Travel to Bella Vista and the encircling areas increases greatly in the summertime. On the east side is the Bentonville School District, and on the west side is Gravette School District. Also serving the village is a private preschool, Bella Vista Montessori Academy. Cooper Elementary, part of the Bentonville District, is a K-4.

The Bentonvile School precinct is planning two new schools for Bella Vista students.

Carroll Electric Cooperative provides electricity for Bella Vista residents.

Infrastructure issues presently exist in Bella Vista, where traffic levels are quickly increasing.

Some locals refer to this as a bypass or one taking the current portion of US 71 passing through Bella Vista.

On April 13, 2006, the Arkansas Highway Commission allowed the use of tolls to finance construction. The assembly of the Bella Vista Bypass began on June 8, 2011. The POA provides water and sanitation (trash pick-up) service to Bella Vista residents.

Village Waste Water provides sewage service to portions of Bella Vista.
